Entidex is operated by ENTIDEX LTD, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 17250646 (“Entidex”, “we”, “our”). We are the data controller for personal data processed through entidex.com, the public platform, the customer dashboard, and the Entidex API.
Public observation data. Entidex observes publicly available signals about entities (brands, people, products, places, services). Where an entity refers to a natural person, the data we surface is limited to publicly published material \u2014 news, reviews, social posts, search results, AI engine responses, knowledge-graph entries, and similar.
Account data. If you sign up for a paid or free account we process your email address, hashed password, billing details (handled by our payment processor), API keys you generate, and the entities you choose to monitor.
Operational data. Server logs, IP addresses, request metadata, and error traces are retained for security and abuse prevention.
Public observation is processed under legitimate interest(Article 6(1)(f)) for the purpose of providing entity intelligence to our users, balanced against the data subject’s rights. Account data is processed under contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Operational logging is processed under legitimate interest for security and integrity of the service.
Public observation data is retained for as long as the entity remains observable, so that historical trends, drift, and provenance can be reconstructed. Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account plus 30 days. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
Under GDPR / UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, including the right to be forgotten (Article 17), please use the takedown channel so we can verify the request and respond inside our 72-hour SLA.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK, or your local supervisory authority in the EEA.
