How the free AI scan works

A brand is now described to buyers by AI engines before anyone reaches its website. The scan shows what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok are saying about yours today, and where that departs from the verified facts.

  1. Step 1

    Enter a name or website

Company, person, product or creator. A website address resolves to the entity behind it, so you never have to guess the exact name.

  2. Step 2

    We read the five engines

Each engine is asked the same questions and its answers are compared, claim by claim, against the verified record — not against each other.

  3. Step 3

    You see the corrections

A claim ledger: matched, wrong, or unknown to the engine, with the verified value beside every error. Monitor the entity to catch drift as it happens.

Questions people ask

What does the free AI scan actually check?
It reads what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok currently say about the name or website you enter, then compares each claim with the verified record Entidex holds for that entity — company facts, people, products, locations, dates. You see which claims match, which are wrong, and which the engines simply do not know.
Do I need an account?
No. The scan runs on cached reads of the Entidex index, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. A free account unlocks the full claim ledger with every correction, and lets you monitor the entity for drift.
What if my business is not in the index yet?
The scan tells you plainly. You can add the entity from a free account; the first pipeline pass then reads every surface — AI engines, search, reviews, social, press, registries and your own site — and the next scan shows the real picture.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT myself?
Asking one engine once gives you one answer on one day. The scan reads all five engines against a verified record and keeps the result, so you can see where they disagree with the facts and with each other — and, if you monitor, how that changes week to week.
Where do the verified facts come from?
Entidex compiles each entity's record from 42+ live collectors across eight surfaces — public registries such as Companies House and GLEIF, Wikidata, the entity's own website, press, reviews and social — every fact dated and attributed. The methodology page explains the scoring.
